of Ill. Bro. Donald N. Campbell, 33° on Dec., 19, 2010
Ill.
Bro. Campbell served as an Active Member from 1996 to
2010. Donald also served as Deputy for Ontario for three
terms and as Grand Secretary General of Supreme Council.

Ill. Bro. Robert David (Bob)
Brethour 33°
Bob was
born in Orillia in 1954 and attended school in
Coldwater, Orillia and Waterloo. After his first year at
the University of Waterloo in 1973, he hired on the
railway for his summer job – and stayed for 36 years! He
worked predominantly as a Locomotive Engineer and
retired in 2009.
Bob met his wife Charlotte in high school and they were
married in 1975. Bob and Charlotte moved from Orillia to
Barrie in 1985. His interests include music – he plays
trombone – travel and golf. They are members of
Northwest Barrie United Church.
In Craft Lodge, Bob was Initiated, Passed and Raised in
Manitoba Lodge No. 236, Cookstown in 1986. He served as
Worshipful Master of Manitoba Lodge in 1993 and 2006. He
has served as editor of their lodge newsletter since its
inception in 1993. Bob also served at various times as
Lodge Secretary, Assistant Secretary, on a number of
District and Regional Committees as well as the Grand
Lodge Membership Committee. He was Appointed Grand
Senior Deacon of the Grand Lodge of Canada in the
Province of Ontario in July 2009.
Bob joined the Barrie Lodge of Perfection (1988), Spry
Chapter Rose Croix (1989) and the Barrie Consistory
(1989). He is both a cast member as well as Co-Director
of several Degrees. He served as Thrice Puissant Grand
Master of the Barrie Lodge of Perfection in 2001 and
Commander in Chief of the Barrie Consistory in 2008. He
is presently a Trustee for Spry Chapter of Rose Croix
and the editor of the Valley of Barrie Triangle
newsletter.
Bob is also a member of Rameses Temple, Barrie’s Sheba
Shrine Club and the Voyageur Unit.
In September of 2000 Bob was coroneted an Honorary
Inspector-General 33° in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was
crowned a Sovereign Grand Inspector-General 33° on
September 18, 2010 in Moncton , New Brunswick. |
